Abbottabad Board Declares SSC Results
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Abbottabad, on
Tuesday declared the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual 2011
examination results that showed pass percentage of 72.23.
The officials of the BISE said that 47,401 candidates appeared in the
examination and 34,240 were declared successful. In the science group,
the top three positions were won by the students of Pakistan Scouts
Cadet College, Batrasi in Mansehra. Ikramullah from this institution
secured 971 marks and topped the board while Haider Zaman with 970 marks
got second position and Muhammad Nauman Khan with 969 stood third.
Among the girl students in the science group, Anab Sardar of Pakistan
International Public School (PIPS), Abbottabad topped with 966 marks,
Mahnoor Ashfaq of the Sky International School, Mansehra stood second
with 961 marks and Maryam Kiyani, student of PIPS got 958 marks to
achieve third position.In the humanities group among females, Nazia Bibi, student of Hera Children Home, Bagra in Haripur secured 873 marks and got first position. Tanzeela Ahmed Khan of Government High School, Bakki Mansehra with 872 marks got second position and Bushra Bibi, Government Girls High School, Shinkiari Mansehra with 868 marks got third position.
In the humanities group among males, Muhammad Salem, who appeared in the examination as private candidate, got 842 marks and stood first, Abu Bakar with 802 marks was placed second and Syed Mehar Ali Shah of Modern Public School and College, Abbottabad with 791 marks obtained third position.
